Drug Test Notifications

How does FinishProbation gather Test Location information?

We collect test location data in two steps.

  1. We first programmatically gather the media of the test location results. Whether it's web scraping a photo of the web page or a phone recording of the hotline call, these actions are done on a routine computed job.
  2. Once received, a person will manually verify what colors were called and if the date is correct.

Once a test location's testing groups are verified, it programmatically sends notifications to everyone subscribed to those testing locations at that moment.

Can you show me an example of a notification?

Below is an example of a notification when someone would need to test.

"Red" is required to test
Our services indicate that "Red" is required to test at {Your Test Location}. Tap notification to verify test location information.

When a test location does not require your testing group/color to come in for a drug test, we will still notify you that you will not need to drug test.

The user still is responsible for double checking if they have to test each day. On the FinishProbation Test Location Page, there is a phone recording or website verification picture that has this information.

"Blue" is NOT required to test
Our services indicate that "Blue" is NOT required to test at {Your Test Location}. Tap notification to verify test location information.

If we fail to verify the test group information within two hours, then we will send this notification.

How will I be notified?

You will be notified as a notification through the FinishProbation mobile app.

When will I be notified?

Each test location has different times when they update their testing data. If it's early morning, our goal is to verify test location data as soon as a test location updates their information and once the a person verifies the results.

Do you support Averhealth and Sentry?

Yes, we support Averhealth, Sentry and other drug testing locations that require a unique PID. PID notifications will send you the entire phone transcription which will indicate if you will need to test or not. You can set your PID notification to call at any time of the day and which days of the week to call.

How reliable are you?

We built FinishProbation with Amazon Web Servers for high reliability and availability, but in the unlikely chance that our servers are not available (or offline), then users will not receive a notification. You can see how consistent we gather test location information by providing a 90 day spread of drug testing results.

How do I start receiving notifications?

  1. Download the iOS or Android mobile app
  2. Make an account on the mobile app.
